New in the shop: Dreamkuts

This new machine from Zutter Innovative Products is the perfect page cutter. The Dreamkuts machine can cut over 100 different page sizes and is the perfect companion product to your Bind It All. The machine cuts paper or thin cardstock in halves or thirds, giving you instant pages for the Bind It All standard book cover sizes. It is also a great machine to make your own ATC cards, quickly and effectively. Just feed paper into one of the two slots at the top of the machine, and it will come out perfectly cut every time. The benefits over a traditional paper trimmer or guillotine is that the Dreamkuts is portable and cuts precisely and evenly. The blades of the Dreamkuts machine never need to be changed as are self sharpening and the machine can fit paper up to 12” wide – great for using with Bazzill Basics Paper. A fantastic new product to make life that little more easy!

 

NEW CUTTLEBUG DIES ARE IN THE SHOP!!!

The parcel arrived yesterday (Monday 16th) and everything was up and ready in the shop in the afternoon. Those new dies are fantastic and going very fast already (Lexie hardly had the time to price them before the customers got hold of them!)

Extravaganza week-end

What a fantastic weekend we had!  I want to say a big thank you to all the demonstrators for the fantastic ideas and inspiration they provided, to every one of the huge number of customers that came along to take part in the extravaganza and to our shop staff, you all helped to make the weekend a real success.  We have posted some pictures taken by one of our customers, David Probett

 

You will notice below, my husband Ian standing, hand on hips, in the middle of the room talking to Andrew Street and they say women can talk!

 A new face was Sandra Dry the designer of the current release of Kadoodle stamps, nervous to begin with Sandra soon got into the swing of it.  She proved very popular and has agreed to demo at the shop on 5th July and to take a class in August.

 A more familiar face was Maggie Wright whose original vision made today’s Craft Barn possible.   Maggie was doing wonderful things with Stampendous stamps and chippies.   Lots of you commented on how nice it was to see Maggie again.

 Once again a big THANK YOU!  We hope you will all be able to come to the NEXT EVENT ON 13TH AND 14TH SEPTEMBER.  We already have some wonderful surprises planned for you so keep your eye on the blog for more details!

NEW! in the shop: CORE’DINATION CARDSTOCK

The new core’dination cardstock arrived in the shop today!

  If you like textured cardstock, then you will LOVE this new line.

What is Core’dination cardstock ?

It’s a heavy weight, textured cardstock, which has a core color which “core”dinates” with the surface colour. Therefore, you can give your cardstock a different antique, worn look by sanding or tearing it.

Sanding removes the surface colour on only the raised portion of the texture.

Tearing allows you to outline the surface colour with the Core’dinating core.

I will be using those in my Crafty Individual class on Saturday morning. There are still a few spaces left if you want to join us. (Booking on 01342.836.398).
