OCTOBER WORKSHOPS & DEMOS
STUDIO AND DEMO PROGRAMME FOR OCTOBER 2009

WORKSHOPS – These are usually half day sessions lasting 2½ hours. They are designed to help you to recreate at least one complete project. Cost £10 per session
MASTER CLASSES – These can be a half day or full day depending on the topic and are designed to give you in depth knowledge around specific techniques and products. They will help you to gain new skills and to get the most from your crafting. Cost £10 for half day and £20 for whole day unless otherwise stated
START TIMES : AM and All day sessions start at 10:30am, PM sessions 2pm and Evening sessions 6:30pm
GENERAL INFO : We supply everything you need to complete the projects – except personal photos where these are required. We prefer that you do not bring your own general craft supplies with you as this can cause confusion.
CANCELLATION POLICY : If you have to cancel, we ask for at least 3 days notice if you wish to qualify for a refund or to rebook. If we cancel we will give you as much notice as possible & offer you a refund or transfer.
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY : In order to help you to choose, we have given an indication as to the level of difficulty. ☺suitable for beginners ☺☺ suitable for people with some knowledge of basic techniques ☺☺☺ suitable for advanced crafters.
FRIDAY 2nd – CAROL COCKBAIN
☺AM: COZY CHRISTMAS – create your own decoupaged images with stamps. This class features Woodware Cozy Christmas and Personal Impressions Christmas Elf stamps.
☺PM: VICTORIAN CHRISTMAS – in this class you will work with Glimmer Mists, cling film and the Crafty Individuals Christmas Stamps to create cards with a vintage feel.
SATURDAY 3rd – CAROLE CANN
☺AM: POT POURRI BOX PROJECT (£12) – decorate one of our potpourri boxes using the Katzelkraft Physalis stamps and precious metal paints.
☺PM: WOODEN CANDLE BLOCK PROJECT (£12) – this class will decorate one of our wooden candle blocks using Magenta stamps and other goodies
DEMO: LEXIE WILSON USING CHALKS WITH CRAFTY INDIVIDUALS STAMPS
SUNDAY 4th : LEXIE WILSON - MOTHER AND DAUGHTER SCRAPBOOK CLUB GROUP 1
☺AM: Club meets first Sunday of the month, and is a group of mums and school age children. It’s a lovely way to create new memories as well as preserve existing ones plus pass information down from generation to generation.
MONDAY 5th CRAFTY DIETERS CLUB
☺Starts 6:30pm and includes a class with Carole Cann
FRIDAY 9TH – CAROL COCKBAIN
☺AM: MAKE A FEATURE OF STAMPBORD – this morning you will use the Woodware Christmas Greenery set to create your background and feature stampbord panel for your first card and Carol’s own Fuchsia design stamp for background and feature stampbord panel for the second card
☺PM: CHRISTMAS AND BEYOND – multiple cards with one stamp Carol will show you how to maximise the use of stamps through colour and techniques, you will then get to try two to give you very different cards.
SATURDAY 10TH – CAROLE CANN - ADVANCED METALS CLASS – £25.00
☺ALL DAY: In this class you will make your own book covers from metal and then create a book to show them off. Carole has been experimenting and this project features a secret ingredient to give texture to the metal. To get the most from this class you must have completed the metal for beginners class.
DEMO: JANE COLLMAN – JANE WILL BE WORKING WITH THE SLICE MACHINE
SUNDAY 11TH : LEXIE WILSON – SCRAPBOOK CLUB 2
☺AM: Club meets second Sunday of the month, and is suitable for adults of all ages. It’s a lovely way to create new memories as well as preserve existing ones plus pass information down from generation to generation.

FRIDAY 16TH : LEXIE WILSON – BRENTWOOD THE OWL
☺AM: HALLOWEEN – create fun cards featuring the cutest coolest owl around!
☺PM: INCHIE BOXES – cube boxes decorated with Personal Impressions stamps – these lovely little boxes make great tree decorations and you can put a chocolate inside for an added surprise. Talking of chocolate why not use the techniques you learn in this class to make 24 little boxes and create your own advent calendar!
SATURDAY 17th : CAROL COCKBAIN – DREAMWEAVER MASTERCLASS – £25.00
☺ALL DAY: Carol takes you through everything you need to know to make great projects using the Dreamweaver products. In this class you will work with Dreamweaver stencils and pastes including the crackle and pearlescent pastes you will also use gold leaf and glitter
DEMO: CAROLE CANN: USING METALS WITH PEEL OFFS – A GREAT WAY TO ADD DIMENSION AND INTEREST TO PROJECTS
SUNDAY 18th – JANE COLLMAN – COPIC MARKERS MASTERCLASS
☺AM: learn how to use these fantastic new pens to create professional looking shading and colouring. You will also use the new Kadoodle stamps
MONDAY 19th : CRAFTY DIETERS CLUB
Starts 6:30pm and includes a class with Jane Collman
FRIDAY 23rd : CAROLE CANN – ALL DAY INKS MASTERCLASS
☺ALL DAY : in this class you will learn what different inks do and how to use them in your projects. You will be going from distress inks to alcohol inks from Stazon to Nick Bantocks and lots more, Carole will help you work with them all
SATURDAY 24th : CAROLE CANN – ALL DAY METALS FOR BEGINNERS WORKSHOP
☺Try out tools and techniques for adding metals to your projects. You will create yourself a sampler book of techniques that you can refer back to and an altered matchbox to take home and wow your friends and family with
DEMO: CAROL COCKBAIN : USING THE ART GLITTER SYSTEM TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS MEDALLIONS AND DECORATIONS
SUNDAY 25th :
☺AM: LINA MCDERMOTT – WATER COLOUR TECHNIQUES learn how to use Watercolouring techniques in your crafting
☺PM: SANDRA DRY – COLOURSOFT TECHNIQUES – Sandra will be using showing you how to get the most from the Coloursoft pencils using Sansodor and featuring her own Christmas stamp designs
MONDAY 26th : CRAFTY DIETERS CLUB
Starts 6:30pm and includes a class with Carole Cann
FRIDAY 30th : KATI HUGGETT
☺AM: GET CRAFTING : a beginners class to get you started. You will learn stamping techniques including basic inks, heat embossing , triple embossing and masking techniques
☺PM: A STEP FURTHER – this class leads on from the morning but would also be suitable for anyone with basic stampinc knowledge who wasn’t to develop their card making skills. You will learn how to add texture and dimension to your projects with matting & layering, glitter, liquid applique and fun flock
SATURDAY 31st : CAROLE COCKBAIN MAGENTA MEDLEY
☺AM: POTTED CHRISTMAS – Christmas cards and Tags with the new Magenta Christmas stamps
☺PM: AGAPANTHUS AND MORE – pretty cards with the newest Magenta stamps
