Altering anyone?

As many of you know, we have a wide and very popular altering section in the shop and online.

Our team has been busy inking, painting, embossing those little (or not so little) wooden and papier mâché items we sell.

Hello,

First of all we would like to wish you all a VERY HAPPY NEW year !! We hope that you had a wonderful holiday and that you got (craft) spoiled for Christmas.

Now that the kids are back to school (well, mine are), and we are back at work, it’s time to start showing you samples regularly on this blog.

Wondering what to do with letters?

I thought I would just share this with you all. One of our customers, Melanie, is getting married on New Years Eve and between her and her fiance they have 4 kids and they realised that if you take their intials and rearrange them it spells “DREAMS” so they decorated some of our paper mache letters to have on dsiplay at the wedding. Here’s what they did

Christmas week: day 4

Iiiii’m dreamiiiing of a whiiiiiite Christmaaaaas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I had my very first white Christmas last year and I do hope we’ll get another one this year, we loved it!!

In the meantime, Kay’s sample below is definitely a white xmas as she used the cute Herb snowman from Whiff of Joy. Dawn seems to be having a (black &) white Christmas and Ria is probably too cold to face the snow as she prefers staying indoors to decorate the tree

Christmas week: day 1

Hello,

How many sleeps to Christmas? 31 ? really ??? When I think that we will be in boxes again as we should be moving one week before Christmas! Yes… agaiiiin, I guess the 26 will definitely be “boxing day” for us then (sorry could not resist)…

So this week, just in case you have not finished your Christmas cards yet (like me??) and you need more inspiration, I will post only Christmas cards! Hope this will help if you suffer from “crafter’s block”.
