Just to let you know that we have had posted this weeks new mini workshop which is a lovely project designed by Julie Hickey and using Acetate and lots of lovely Craftwork Cards embellishment products. As you can see from the picture below, it has a very summery and feminine feel to it and is very adaptable for different age groups and occasions. Enjoy!

Hello,
The latest Crafty Individuals products are now online. They include some new die-cuts frames to go with the microscope slide images, some lovely chipboard frames which can be stamped, inked, painted or simply covered with the lovely Crafty Individuals background papers. Last but not least, they have just released a beautiful new book of images, all in different sizes (microscope, small squares, bigger squares) and different styles (seaside, vintage, women, children, men, England, Italy…): a true must-have!
As we mention Crafty Individuals, we have now created a specific section for Crafty Individuals (on the left menu on the website) so you can find all those lovely products in the same place.
Here’s a few samples I have made with those latest products. Did I mention I love those ??

Les nouveautés Crafty Individuals sont maintenant en ligne. Vous trouverez des die-cuts pour aller avec les images de taille “microscope”, des cadres chipboard qui vont parfaitement avec les images Crafty et qui ne demandent qu’à être altérées (peinture, encres, tampons) ou couvertes avec les superbes papiers de Crafty Individuals.
Enfin, il y a un nouveau livret d’images de tailles et styles différents qui sont “à ne pas manquer”!
Nous avons créé une section Crafty Individuals à part entière sur le site maintenant, donc dans le menu à gauche où tous les trésors de Crafty y sont rassemblés.
Voici quelques exemples que j’ai faits avec ces nouveautés.

bonjour,
Ce message s’adresse surtout aux client(e)s francophones.
Depuis un moment déjà, vous aviez la facilité de changer la langue du site en cliquant sur l’onglet “choose language” en haut à gauche du site. Ceci vous permet de voir le menu de gauche ainsi que 95% des produits ajoutés depuis janvier en français.
Toutefois, tout le reste du site, et notamment les boutons et commandes de navigation étaient en anglais, ce qui ne facilitait pas les choses quand vous vouliez passer commande.
Ceci est maintenant changé: depuis hier, toutes les fonctions du site, ainsi que les menus (et leur contenu) en haut et en bas du site sont en français. Je sais qu’il reste encore beaucoup de descriptions d’articles à traduire, et j’y travaille, mais déjà vous devriez vous sentir plus “chez vous” quand vous irez faire votre shopping sur notre site.
Nous sommes toujours à votre écoute pour toute remarque ou question. N’hésitez pas à me contacter à isabelle@thecraftbarn.co.uk.

Meet Doraline and Dexter!
As always we have been on the hunt for new things to bring you and we are thrilled to be able to announce the arrival of Motivet rubber stamps to The Craft Barn. These are lovely unmounted rubber stamps and the sweet designs are perfect for either stamping onto patterned and coloured papers or for colouring. The designs lend themselves to a range of colouring media including Distress inks, Coloursoft pencils, watercolour pens and pencils and of course Copics.
You will be able to see more of them at our September extravaganza and we will feature them in the September class list plus we will have some samples for you soon.

For those of you who are not on our mailing list, I have added a list of demonstrations and workshops to the blog (see tabs at the top of the page). We have hired two halls this time the Community Cetre and the Victoria club to try to make it easier for people to see the demos.
The address book workshop is full but there are still places on the remaining workshops, so have a look and decide what you fancy doing!
We have also put a pdf document on the website for you to download of address labels for the loyalty cards, if possible we would really love people to fill these in in advance as this will help us reduce queues in the shop by speeding things up at the tills. Click here to go to the page

Hi
Just quickie to keep you up to date with some changes! Since we amalgamated the Kadoodle and Craft Barn Blogs, we have been meaning to revisit the structure of the Design Teams without really getting to grips! However, very sadly for us Brandi has made the decision to retire from the team and this has been the catalyst for us to get off our backsides and actually get things sorted!
Going forward we plan to have just one DT, Dawn and Ria will join Isabelle, Kiki, Poupette and Sue a pretty formidable team all with very different styles which is wonderful for us. They will all continue to exercise their creative talents and give us lots of lovely samples to post on the blog to inspire you!
We are really grateful to all our DT members past and present for their dedication and hard work, which enables us to bring you so many new samples and ideas, I’m sure you’ll agree they really are heroes.
