hello,
As promised, the last but not least of the latest Kadoodle stamps are Carol Cockbain’s designs. Carol has drawn on real flowers for her designs and she did tell me the names of all of them but it turns out that flower names are like other names and don’t stay in my brain very long!

Here are a few samples made by Carol to whet your appetite, the samples in real life are stunning and much more vibrant than my photos give justice to

Hope you like them.
See you soon

Workshops with Sue Roddis
We have the dates now for the workshops with Sue Roddis. They are the last weekend in August – Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th.
Both are full day workshops and are priced at £35per person per day. This includes all materials and unlimited drinks during the day. Lunch is not included but this can be reserved at the coffee shop next door or there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in the village for you to try.
What will you be making on Saturday
I want to keep the actual projects a bit of a surprise for you for the day, so the snippet below gives you just a flavour of the project which is a faux metal book .

The project is made with foil rather than metal and the picture only shows one page – your book will have several pages. You will also be using different Paper Artsy stamps with the foil, inks, and other goodies. There is flexibility and on the day you can choose alternative stamps and either go with the colours of Sue’s revised project sample or choose your own colour scheme.
What will you be making on Sunday
On Sunday the project involves one of our wooden desk calendars. Below is a previous version that Sue has done. This is just to tease you because again you will be making a different version on the day!

You can only book by ringing us on 01342 836398 and places are limited so if you are interested you do need to get in touch,
Happy crafting!

hi,
Here’s another page using Wisteria papers. I also used Katzelkraft DANS MA MAISON rubber stamps.
Those are two little churches we drove by here in Canada, whilst “exploring” when my parents were here. They are so cute we had to stop and take pictures.

thanks for visiting

How refreshing is this, proof that crafting is not just a girl thing! Isabelle’s son Antoine has prepared this lovely scrapbook page using BasicGrey Wisteria papers& Katzelkraft “Dans ma maison” stamps

and another lovely layout capturing memories and spanning the generations.
If you need more proof that boys like to craft with a bit of encouragment Click here to take a look at the gorgeous father’s day cards Julian and Antoine made
So in the imortal words of Slade “girls grab your boys” and introduce them to crafting. (Sorry, bit of evidence of a misspent youth there!)

Just a quickie to let you know that we have created a new section on our website called Tutorials. This is a free resource for you. It has two sections, the first is Tips and Techniques sheets, which have been available free in the shop for some time and which were uploaded today. They are written to give you an overview of techniques and products and we are continuing to add to these regularly (when I get chance to write them!).
The second section is a series of mini workshops and projects. We will be aiming to publish one of these per week for the next few months. They are specific projects for you to download and try or to adapt and take inspiration from . This will include the projects prepared by the demonstrators from the extravaganza.
Enjoy!
PS If you can think of a better/more exciting section name than tutorials please email me or leave a comment !
