Melanie Moss : stamping on bisque
Posted by sandyweller on April 20, 2008
On 26th A pril, Melanie Moss will be leading our first class using the pottery/bisque circle blanks (which can either be used as coasters or hanging ornament) and the Sugar Nellie Stamps. You will learn how to stamp onto this medium using pottery paints to colour and define your stamping and finally your work will be taken away, glazed and fired and returned to you.
After the items are glazed you can use for example alcohol inks and rub-ons to add further dimension and designs.
There are some lovely blanks in the shop for you to choose from and it’s a great way of getting extra use from your stamps. Look out for a magazine article (in the August issue of Craft Stamper magazine – coming out in July) featuring a photo frame project by Isabelle.
Melanie Moss will be in the shop on 10th May to demo this great new product, so if you’re not sure come along and see for yourselves what amazing things you can make!
You can see more samples in the shop
